PARENTS, KIDS AND EDUCATORS LOVE You TELL Me Stories!

“We liked how the emphasis was on HOW you read to your child, not necessarily WHAT you read to your child. Although content is important, the approach and presentation of the content is key. …

The Retell, Record and Share feature gives children the opportunity to practice their storytelling skills--an often overlooked and essential activity after reading with a child. Retelling and summarizing a story builds important skills such as recall/memory, clarity of thought and delivery, sequencing, speaking skills, vocabulary, and analysis.” – Academics’ Choice Awards

"I read with my 2½ and 6 year old daughters, Goldilocks and the 3 Bears and they absolutely loved it. When we were reading the story together, sparks were going off with tons of ideas on how I could implement this with my own students." -- Lauren Turk, Speech and Language Pathologist, New York

EXCLUSIVE FEATURES

ABOUT THE STORY
Author “Arthur Yorinks has a terrifically funny voice that begs to be read out loud. When Lulu asks her parents for a dog for the 40th time, they give her a toy poodle -- not the miniature but the stuffed kind. She throws a tantrum … but when Harry the poodle wakes her up with a squeaky bark, Lulu is having none of it: Youre not a dog. Youre just a stuffed animal, she growls at him. They argue, Harry fails her dog biscuit test and goes wild for bagels instead, they argue some more, and Harry tells her hes going back to where he came from -- Paris. Lulu decides to go, too. She has the perfect beret to wear on their trip. ” (NY Times)
